BAGUIO CITY — Fast-moving and muddy floodwaters surged across the Luneta–Loacan Proper Junction road in Itogon, Benguet, on Thursday, leaving the road impassable as the Antamok River swelled from days of rain. Photos released by the Barangay Loacan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) showed brown, debris-laden water rushing over the roadway and surrounding ground, with powerful currents engulfing the crossing.
