The railways will close the Uchhila level crossing gate, located between Ullal and Manjeshwar stations, for a week to undertake maintenance work.

According to Southern Railway, the LC gate will be closed from 10 am of August 10 to 6 pm of August 15. Motorists may utilise the Someshwara Level Crossing located near Ullal Railway Station or the Thokkottu railway over bridge located on Thokkottu-Ullal Road during the Uchhila LC closure.

Short-termination of Mumbai-bound train at Thane

Train No. 12134 Mangaluru Junction-Mumbai CSMT Superfast Express will continue to be short-terminated at Thane till August 20. The short-termination is to facilitate development work at CSMT station.
