Kolodjashnij unveiled as Geelong player involved in concussion scandal
Geelong has released a statement in the last hour revealing veteran defender Jake Kolodjashnij as the player involved in its concussion scandal.
The Cats statement is attributed to Kolodjashnij and here's what the 30-year-old has said:
"While I appreciate the efforts made not to identify me, the speculation has left me feeling I needed to address this personally.
"I participated fully in the AFL's independent concussion panel process, respected its independence, and was comfortable with the outcome. I have continued playing AFL football since.
"What disappoints me most is that my private medical information has been made public.
"Everyone deserves the right to keep their confidential medical information private.
"I want to thank my family, the AFLPA, my manager, my teammates and the football club for their support over the past 24 hours.
"I am healthy, feeling good, and focused on playing my role for the team for the remainder of the season."

We've got a good, old-fashioned, Friday night blockbuster tonight as the Brisbane Lions host Hawthorn at the Gabba.
The Lions dropped out of the top four last weekend after being smashed by Carlton, and need a win to stay in touch with the top dogs.
The Hawks are comfortably entrenched inside the top four, and have eyes on a top-two spot to end the season.
