Pokémon Pokopia's windup Inkay is a vital part of a certain habitat, but unless you get lucky with your daily shop rotation, you might have trouble finding it. There's a free windup Inkay doll floating around Bubbly Basin. It's tucked away in a cave in a deep part of the ocean, though, and it's possible to miss it entirely if you don't know where to look.
Below, we show you where to find a windup Inkay in Pokopia.
Where to find a windup Inkay in Pokémon Pokopia
You'll find a windup Inkay in a cave behind the pavilion where you get the seashell seat for Barboach. If you haven't done that yet, leave Bubbly Basin's town and go north. You'll see some buildings on your right and, beneath you, the road vanishes into deep ocean. Drop into the depths, and follow the road west until you reach the pavilion.
Keep following the road, and turn left when you see some brick blocks on the wall. Enter the tunnel. At the tunnel's midpoint, you'll see some rocks you can break with Rock Smash. There's another room at the end of the tunnel, blocked by sand, and it has several grubby pearls in it if you need to stock up on those.
Enter the room behind the broken rocks, and the windup Inkay is sitting there in a red Poké Ball, waiting for you.
You'll need a windup Inkay to create the Muddy Playtime habitat, which also requires floating logs, muddy water, and a towel rack.
You can also get a windup Inkay from appraising large lost sunken relics, as well as Trade specialty Pokémon selling items randomly, but the above location will let you skip the RNG and find one right away.
