According to Ukrinform, this information was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“As of 4:00 p.m. on August 7, for the third day in a row, rescue workers in the Kyiv region have been working at sites where pockets of fire, destroyed structures, and hazardous areas remain following the Russian attack. High temperatures and heavy protective gear are making their work significantly more difficult,” the statement reads.

Today, rescue workers extinguished a fire at yet another location. In total, operations were carried out at six sites.

According to the State Emergency Service, operations are currently underway at one location in the Brovary District, where rescue workers are continuing their efforts until the aftermath has been fully addressed and all hazards have been eliminated.

“Despite their fatigue, firefighters continue to carry out their duties: working in smoke-filled rooms, laying out hose lines, dousing structures, clearing debris, and locating hidden smoldering hot spots,” the State Emergency Service added.

As reported by Ukrinform, 16 people were killed and 36 were injured in the Kyiv region as a result of a massive Russian missile and drone attack on the night of August 5.
