Samsung’s Galaxy FE models are always a pleasant halfway point, both in price and in when they come out.

The budget-friendly phones sit somewhere in cost between the pricey flagship S series and the midrange A series. And they tend to come out six months after the flashy presentation that the S series gets.

So we look forward to what they represent for the wallet and in how they break up the year newswise. As for the latter, there has been plenty of news about the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE lately, so we’re rounding up what we’ve heard and what we expect right here.

See you in September

The phone should debut in September, if history is a guide, specifically at IFA. And it seems that it’s likely to debut on the anniversary of the Galaxy S25 FE’s launch, Sept. 4, according to a leak from fireuniverse on X.

Another sign that the Galaxy S26 FE will be seen soon is that it just passed through the FCC database which puts it on a timeline for a debut next month.

A two-chip mystery

The FCC filing revealed a lot about what we can expect.

One of the most notable things about the filing is that it states that the phone will have both Qualcomm and Samsung Exynos silicon. Android Authority has interpreted the filing as meaning that the phone has an Exynos modem and chipset, along with a Qualcomm local networking chip.

The Galaxy S26 FE has 45W fast wired charging (as does the Galaxy S25 FE), and supports wireless charging, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and satellite connectivity.

A familiar look

Android Headlines has an exclusive on what it said are official hi-res shots of the Galaxy S26 FE that reveal the colorways and the design.

There are no official names given for the colors but there a trio of phones shows a light green, indigo, and black. The light green looks very close to the Pistachio that’s proved so popular for the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

The phone looks like the Galaxy S26, with the same style of camera island that houses all three cameras.

The bezel is thin, though the bottom one is wider than the rest.

Stay tuned

We’re looking out for more Galaxy S26 FE news and will be at IFA for its likely debut.
