MOSCOW, August 8. /TASS/. The situation on the Novorossiya highway has significantly improved, with traffic largely restored, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin has told TASS in an interview.
"You most certainly know that we had some problems on the Novorossiya highway, but the situation has been reversed," he said. "It should be understood that about 7,000 cars travel via it daily, including 3,000 trucks. Any casualties are, of course, sad, especially when people die. Civilian vehicles sometimes come under attack. But, in general, the situation has significantly improved <…>, and the traffic has been mostly restored."
Khusnullin said he is receiving reports of downed drones and attacks on vehicles, mostly tank trucks, on a daily basis.
