According to Ukrinform, Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“As a result of Russian aggression, two people were killed, and 24 others were wounded, including one child,” Prokudin wrote.
He stated that over the past day, the city of Kherson and 47 other settlements in the region came under enemy airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling.
Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas in the region’s settlements. In particular, they damaged seven high-rise buildings and 11 private homes.
The occupiers also destroyed a church, a store, a hair salon, a gas station, a farm building, school buses, agricultural machinery, and private cars.

Yesterday, 18 people were evacuated from liberated communities in the region.
As previously reported, on August 6, 32 people were wounded in the Kherson region over the course of 24 hours as a result of Russian attacks, including one child.
