The makers released the trailer for Suriya’s upcoming movie Vishwanath and Sons. Directed by Venky Atluri, the Tamil movie stars Mamitha Baiju in the lead.

The trailer begins with scenes that establish Suriya’s character, Sanjay Vishwanath, as a shooting champion. Vishwanath’s little son, Abhay, faces a medical condition where he requires a bone marrow transplant. Mamitha Baiju’s character enters the story as the donour.

Mamitha plays a lively woman called Maddy who develops feelings for Sanjay. The unusual, age-gap romance becomes the core of the story. Vishwanath and Sons promises a family entertainer on love, parenthood, and second chances.

Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon play prominent characters in the movie. Vishwanath and Sons, produced by Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainment banner, will hit the screens on August 14, 2026.

G V Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the movie, while Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer. Navin Nooli has edited the movie. Banglan has handled the production design.

Suriya was last seen in Karuppu, the blockbuster film directed by RJ Balaji. Also starring Trisha, Karuppu was a devotional action drama. The Tamil star is also working with director Jithu Madhvan of Aavesham fame. Actor Naslen plays an important role in that movie.
