On account of work on underground drainage (UGD) pipeline being taken up between Old Suburban Police Station and Sangolli Rayanna Circle, one side of the road stretch will remain closed from 6 a.m. on August 9 to 6 a.m. on August 10, a release from the Police Commissioner’s office stated.

The Police Commissioner has requested the general public to use alternative roads during the said period. The alternate routes are as follows.

Vehicle heading towards Gadag Road from Neeligin Road and IB are requested to proceed through Court Circle, DRM Cross on Vijayapura Road, K.H. Road, Patel Road Shrungar Hotel Cross, RPF Cross to reach Gadag Road.

Vehicles heading towards Vijayapura from Vijayapura side should proceed through Sarvodaya Circle, K.H. Patil Road, Shrungar Hotel Cross, Gadag Road Railway Under Bridge, Ambedkar Circle, Chitaguppi Circle, Sangolli Rayanna Circle and Kittur Chennamma Circle.

Heavy vehicles should proceed through Sarvodya Circle, K.H. Patil Road, Shurngar Hotel Cross, RPF Cross, Gadag Road Railway Under Bridge, Ambedkar Circle, Chitaguppi Circle, Sangolli Rayanna Circle and Kittur Chennamma Circle.
