Senior YSRCP leader and former Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy has said that the White Paper on the State’s financial position released by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu a few days ago is totally misleading.

It seemed to be an attempt at self-promotion and deriding the previous merits, Mr. Rajendranath Reddy said while addressing the media in Hyderabad on Saturday.

He said the document did not even have a mention of the revenues and the claim of high growth rate was not in concurrence with the falling revenues. He said Mr. Naidu’s statement that the deficit was a myth was not only ridiculous but also highly irresponsible. The document was all about boasting of wealth creation.

“The growing popularity of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and people thronging his meetings are a clear indication that they are better off during the previous government,” he said.

It was the true progress report, unlike what had been “fabricated” by the Chief Minister for the sake of self-aggrandisement, he observed, adding that none of the Super Six promises were fulfilled.
