The air defense forces neutralized three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 204 drones with which Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the evening of July 21.

According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram.

Since 18:00 on July 21, the Russians attacked with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from temporarily occupied Crimea, three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles (launch area — the airspace of temporarily occupied Crimea), and 216 Shahed attack UAVs (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodya-type decoy drones from the directions of Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), temporarily occupied Donetsk, as well as Hvardiiske (Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 on July 22, air defense shot down / suppressed three Kh-59/69 missiles and 204 drones in the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.

A ballistic missile strike and 12 attack UAV hits were recorded at 12 locations, as well as falling debris at seven locations.

The attack continues, and enemy drones remain in the airspace.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian military forces struck a house in the Bucha district of Kyiv region on the morning of July 22; five people were injured, including three children.
