MELITOPOL, August 8. /TASS/. The radiation situation at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) remains stable, the facility’s press service reported.

"Security systems continue to operate normally. Safe operating limits and conditions have not been violated. The radiation situation at the Zaporozhye NPP and in the surrounding area remains stable and is consistent with natural background levels," the report reads.

The power plant continues to receive electricity through the Ferrosplavnaya-1 power line only, the press service added.
