The first full-length trailer of Toxic reveals a world of high stakes, hyper-real visuals and heightened emotions. Directed by Geethu Mohandas (Liar’s Dice, Moothon), Toxic stars and has been co-written by Yash.

The Kannada star has also co-produced the film, which is his second release in 2026 alongside Ramayana: Chapter 1 (in which he plays Raavan). The sprawling cast of Toxic includes Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Darrell D’Silva, Sudev Nair, Akshay Oberoi and Sanjeeda Shaikh.

Yash plays both Raya and his son Rumi, who also goes by the name Ticket. There are hints in the trailer of a father-son conflict that blows up in spectacular fashion.

The backdrops include a circus, snow-laden mountains and a forest. The mood is dark and adult (Yash also appears in a nude scene) with lashings of black humour.

The cinematography is by Rajeev Ravi. The music is by Ravi Basrur and Vishal Mishra. The action choreography is by JJ Perry, a Hollywood stunt coordinator whose credits include the Fast & Furious and John Wick films.

Toxic has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada. The film will be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on August 26.
