Manuel Gonzalez, the Moto2 world championship leader, helped give a first Grand Prix victory to Czech racer Filip Salac at Silverstone after a mistake when he celebrated one lap too soon.

Gonzalez, who has won four of the previous 11 rounds this season for the Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact team,
