According to Ukrinform, NPC Ukrenergo reported this on Facebook.

“Overnight and this morning, the enemy launched a massive attack on the Odesa region using missiles and drones. The Russian strikes targeted, among other things, civilian energy infrastructure facilities. Equipment was damaged, resulting in a power outage for a significant number of users in Odesa and the region,” the statement reads.

As the company noted, emergency repair work in the region began as soon as the security situation allowed.

Power company workers are doing everything possible to restore power to every household as quickly as possible.

As of 11 a.m., power has already been restored to approximately 90,000 customers who experienced power outages overnight.

The company is urging residents of the Odesa region to use electricity as sparingly as possible, which will help complete repair work more quickly and restore power to those who are still without it.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops attacked Odesa overnight with ballistic missiles and strike drones, resulting in casualties and damage to infrastructure. The blackouts were reported in parts of Odesa due to a local grid failure.
