TACLOBAN CITY – A 21-year-old woman who had been reported missing since Aug. 3 was found dead in a mountainous area of Isabel, Leyte after a “habal-habal (motorcycle taxi)” driver surrendered to police and allegedly confessed to killing her. The victim, Rina Jane Brigildo, was a collector for CARD (Center for Agriculture and Rural Development) Inc.-Isabel Branch, a microfinance institution, and was a resident of Isabel and a native of Matag-ob, Leyte. Police identified the suspect only as alias “Paulo,” 20, a habal-habal driver, with a live-in partner and a resident of Isabel. He is now under police custody.
