SB19 eyes Coachella appearance as ‘Wakas at Simula’ heads to cinemas worldwide

Fresh from making history at Lollapalooza, SB19 is giving fans another reason to dream big as the P-pop group hinted at a possible Coachella appearance while also announcing the worldwide theatrical release of its “Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale” concert.

During a recent fan meet in California over the weekend, a fan asked the group, “I’m going to Coachella next year, are you guys going?”

In a segment inspired by Spit Manila’s “Madam Oracle,” Pablo, Stell, and Josh played along by building their response based on the last word said by their fellow member. Their answer eventually landed on, “Since you will go to Coachella, we are going to go.”

They followed it with another playful line: “Maybe we will not fail to go to your house.” Ken and Justin, meanwhile, gave a simpler response: “Your wish is my command.”

The exchange quickly sent fans also known as A’TIN into “manifestation” mode, especially after fellow P-pop group BINI made history as the first all Filipino act to perform at Coachella earlier this year.

Meanwhile, fans will get another chance to relive the group’s milestone performances as “Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale” heads to cinemas worldwide in October.

The group announced the theatrical release across its social media platforms, describing it as “one unforgettable journey” and “one historic finale.”

While the exact release date has yet to be announced, the concert marked the finale of SB19’s “The Trilogy” era and is now set to reach audiences outside the Philippines through its worldwide theatrical release. /edv
