Exoskeletons are having a moment, and Ascentiz just gave everyday walkers, hikers, and cyclists a reason to pay attention. The company, which created the world's first modular exoskeleton, has launched its H Series, now available for purchase: the H Pro and the H Ultra.

Both are built around hip-level assistance that syncs with your natural gait rather than overriding it, stepping in to help during key phases of a stride, like lifting your leg or pushing off the ground. The idea is to cut down on effort, not replace how you move.

The H Pro is the lighter, more everyday option, built for walking, fitness, and lighter outdoor activity, with up to 25 kilometers of assisted range. Ascentiz says it delivers up to 1,000W of peak boost, making strides feel about 40% lighter, and it weighs just 5.5 pounds.

The H Ultra is the heavier-duty version, with a carbon-fiber and titanium-alloy frame, a dual-battery setup that extends range to 50 kilometers, and higher power output for longer trips. Both are IP54-rated for weather resistance and designed to run quietly.

The H Pro normally runs $1,499 but is currently $1,199, a $300 discount. The H Ultra normally costs $1,999 and is down to $1,599, a $400 discount. Both are available online at Ascentiz, and Ascentiz plans to display the lineup at IFA Berlin starting Sept. 4.
