MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. Russia calls on international bodies to give a harsh assessment of Ukraine’s terrorist attacks on Belgorod and Nizhnekamsk, while silence will be interpreted as complicity and encouragement of new attacks, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"We strongly condemn the latest vile attacks by Ukraine. We call on the sensible representatives of the global community, relevant international bodies, and independent media to give a harsh assessment of Kiev’s terrorist crimes. We will view silence as complicity and encouragement of new attacks on the civilian population of Russia," the diplomat said in a statement.

According to Zakharova, Kiev is deliberately carrying out these strikes, which are meaningless from a military point of view, for terrorist purposes.

"The daily atrocities of the Kiev regime continue against the civilian population in other regions of Russia, leading to casualties, including among children, women, and the elderly," she said.

Zakharova said that the Investigative Committee has opened criminal cases regarding terrorist attacks. "All those involved will be identified and face inevitable, severe punishment or military retribution," she concluded.
