Ellison And Huang’s Ranking On Forbes’ Billionaire List
The fellow tech moguls are in a pocket of their own on the Forbes real-time billionaires list, as the person closest behind Huang is former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer ($156.2 billion), while the billionaire ahead of Ellison is Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg ($205.8 billion).
Key Background
Despite the Monday rank-up, Ellison’s net worth is essentially flat compared to the start of the year, and is down $2 billion since the end of 2025. That slowdown has come amid a rough stock performance for Oracle, which is down 23% since January. Shares of the tech giant peaked for the year so far in June as part of a broader artificial intelligence comeback in the market that sent software and cloud infrastructure stocks soaring. The boost was short-lived, as Oracle’s stock fell to its lowest point of the year to date in July, when S&P Global downgraded its credit rating to BBB- and the company issued heavy debt as it poured money into artificial intelligence infrastructure. Huang’s net worth is up more than $30 billion since the end of 2025, rising as Nvidia shares have rallied 17% since the start of the year. The company has recorded massive profit growth as it feeds extremely high demand for AI infrastructure. It has also secured partnerships with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and SK Group.
