According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

"Russians have once again struck the city with guided aerial bombs, and there are injured people," the State Emergency Service said.

Private homes were damaged. Rescuers worked at two locations, one of which caught fire.

All fires were extinguished.

Sumy Regional Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov said on Telegram that Russian forces had attacked Sumy with guided aerial bombs for the second time in less than 12 hours.

According to him, residential buildings in a private-sector area on the outskirts of the city were significantly damaged.

One injured man is currently in hospital, where he is undergoing examination and receiving the necessary medical care. His injuries are preliminarily assessed as minor. Another person received medical assistance without being hospitalized.

Civilian infrastructure and vehicles were also damaged.

A survey of the affected area is ongoing, and the consequences of the strikes are being clarified.

As Ukrinform reported, during the night of August 10, Russian forces attacked Sumy with five guided aerial bombs. Fourteen people were reported injured.
