US President Donald Trump has refused to provide information on what could come next for Washington's talks with Tehran, but suggested an escalation remains a possibility.

"You’ll find out," Trump told reporters at the White house.

When asked if a "massive escalation" is an option, he said: "Well, we have that certain ability if we want to do that... Yeah, you’ll find out."
