The first look of actor Tabu from her upcoming pan-India film Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road was unveiled by the makers on Monday (August 10). Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, the film is directed by filmmaker Puri Jagannadh.
Puri Connects, the banner under which Puri and Charmme Kaur produce the film, unveiled the glimpse on YouTube and social media sites. The glimpse introduces Tabu as Gauri Hegde, a powerful cop who makes a stellar entrance. She arrives at a slum in the city in a car, lights a smoke and mercilessly treats goons and hostile locals in the street. We soon realise that Hegde is a Deputy Commissioner at Income Tax.
Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road features Samyuktha as the female lead and Duniya Vijay as an antagonist. The film's cast also includes Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh.
With music scored by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, the film has cinematography by Sam K Naidu and editing by Santosh Noozilla.
Puri and Charmme produce the film in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla’s JB Motion Pictures. Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
