Princess Beatrice turned 38 over the weekend, and to mark the occasion, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared a sweet tribute on social media.
Mozzi, who the princess married in July 2020, shared a carousel of pictures on Instagram including a sunset selfie of the couple and an unseen candid picture of the pair in the car at the Cotswolds wedding of Beatrice’s cousin Peter Philips to Harriet Sperling in June.
On Instagram, Mozzi wrote, in all caps, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE."
"Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love so much. You make our world. Love E,W,S,A xxxx 8.8.88," he wrote.
The message refers to their children Sienna, 4, Athena, 1, and Christopher, known as Wolfie, 10 - who is a son of Mozzi from a previous relationship.
Days earlier, Beatrice became an aunt again when her sister Princess Eugenie announced the birth of a baby girl.
Eugenie, who is also the daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, announced the birth of her third child on Instagram last week.
She gave birth at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, on Monday, August 3, Buckingham Palace said.
The princess and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are taking their time to decide on a name.
The new arrival is the fifth grandchild of the former Duke and Duchess of York, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, after the birth of Princess Beatrice’s daughter Athena Mapelli Mozzi in January last year.
Buckingham Palace said the couple was "delighted" by their daughter's arrival and other members of the Royal Family had been informed and were "equally thrilled by the news."
The pregnancy was announced in May with Eugenie sharing on Instagram a picture of her young son Ernest, wearing a Chelsea football kit, and her other child August, wearing a long-sleeved grey T-shirt, holding a picture of a baby scan.
Mozzi’s public gesture comes after he gave a rare interview to Gentleman’s Journal. When asked to describe his ideal holiday, he said he enjoys “getting off the beaten track, disconnecting from emails and news, and spending time with my family."
His biggest luxury, he revealed, is “travel and time with family”, and he unwinds by spending “time with family and friends”.
