MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. The Federal Security Service (FSB) has prevented a terrorist attack against an employee of the military enlistment office in Krasnodar in the south of Russia.
The suspect who was going to blow up his car on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services was detained, the FSB said.

Foiled terrorist attack

A terrorist act planned on instructions from the Ukrainian special services by killing a Defense Ministry officer was prevented in the Krasnodar Region, the FSB said.

According to the FSB, the suspect, who planned to blow up a car of the employee of the military commissariat of the Krasnodar Region on the instructions of his supervisor for a monetary reward was detained.

The person was detained while trying to remove an improvised explosive device containing a Western-made explosive from a cache, the FSB said.

According to the FSB, in September, the suspect proactively contacted a Ukrainian terrorist organization banned in Russia via Telegram.
Correspondence between detainee, handler

The Ukrainian special services had been preparing this particular attack for a long time, as follows from the correspondence of the detainee with the Ukrainian curator, presented on the FSB video.

The supervisor said that "they know the route of movement of the serviceman."

The correspondence indicates that after the terrorist attack, the detainee was supposed to leave for Georgia.

The man in the correspondence supported the Kiev regime and promised to do everything as requested by the curator, whose name is Roman.

The detainee called the explosive device a "toy" and kept it at home.
Investigation

Criminal cases were initiated under Article 275 (high treason), Part 2 of Article 205.5 (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization) and Part 3 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition of an explosive device).
