Michelle Keegan cut a chic figure in a brown suede jacket as she shared a joke with her hunky co-star Tom Bateman on set of Harlan Coben's drama The Woods.

The actress, 39, was seen giggling alongside the actor, 37, as they took a break from filming on Wednesday.

Michelle is playing Lucy Silverfield in the dark Netflix drama, while Tom will star as barrister Paul 'Cope' Copeland.

The Inbetweeners star James Buckley, 38, who is playing Lonnie Berger, was also seen on set in Cheshire.

It marked James's first appearance since revealing he has been diagnosed with a genetic disease and is at high risk of a cardiovascular incident.

He revealed that he was taken to hospital for severe dehydration after his blood tests revealed his risks come from him having high Lipoprotein(a), a genetically inherited type of blood cholesterol which promotes faster plaque buildup in arteries.

Michelle was hard at work shooting scenes, in the wake of the success of her appearance in Fool Me Once back in 2024.

Harlan created the series and acts as executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions, he said: 'It's one of my most personal novels....

'Like the story's hero, Paul Copeland, I worked as a counselor at a sleepaway camp when I was too young for the job.'

A synopsis for The Woods teases: 'Twenty years ago, Paul 'Cope' Copeland's sister Camille vanished from a summer camp in the woods, a loss that tore his family apart.

'Now a top barrister and devoted single father to ten-year-old daughter Cami, Cope appears to have rebuilt his life.

However, the co-stars were all smiles in between takes

Michelle won mass critical acclaim for the role and was tipped for Hollywood glory for her role as widow Maya Stern.
