YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced Thumati Madhava Rao as the party's candidate for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council.

In a meeting with party MLCs at Tadepalli, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy issued directions on the election of the Deputy Chairman, the post of which was currently vacant and the process to fill it was expected to begin soon. He asked all the MLCs to extend their support to Mr. Madhava Rao and ensure that the election process proceeded smoothly.
