KORONADAL CITY — Police recovered 108 cases of suspected smuggled cigarettes worth P4.6 million while conducting a manhunt for a theft suspect in Lebak, Sultan Kudarat on Wednesday. Personnel of the Lebak Municipal Police Station (MPS), together with other law enforcement units, were looking for an alias “Mike,” who was wanted for qualified theft, in Barangay Kinudalan at around 5 p.m. Police said the target sensed the presence of the operating team while aboard a motorized banca and managed to escape.
