CAIRO, August 13. /TASS/. Egypt supports Turkey's efforts to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea, Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said at a press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.

"We support all efforts made to ensure the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, as Egypt depends on grain exports, including through this route. In this regard, we highly appreciate the role of Turkey, which helps ensure stable maritime traffic in the Black Sea area and opposes attacks on merchant vessels," Abdelatty said as broadcast by Al-Qahera News TV.
