As of the morning of July 23, consumers in three Ukrainian regions were left without power due to Russian attacks.

The national power grid operator Ukrenergo announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Due to Russian attacks on civilian energy infrastructure, there are new power outages this morning in the Donetsk, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. Emergency repair and restoration work is already underway wherever security conditions currently allow," the statement said.

Electricity consumption is in line with seasonal levels. As of 09:30 on July 23, consumption was at the same level as at the same time on Wednesday, July 22.

Yesterday, on July 22, the daily peak in electricity consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 2.8% lower than the peak recorded the previous day, Tuesday, July 21. This was due to lower temperatures across Ukraine, which reduced consumers' need to use air conditioners.

Ukrenergo also stressed that today it is advisable to use high-power electrical appliances during the period when industrial solar power plants operate most efficiently, from 10:00 to 16:00.
