Three sisters were killed by their uncle in West Bengal's Murshidabad area on Thursday (August 13, 2026) night. The accused himself surrendered to the local police station after he committed the crime, police said.
The incident happened in the Suti area of Murshidabad district around 6 p.m. in the evening. The police discovered the bodies after the accused Golam Badshah (22) surrendered to the police station later in the evening.

There were four minor girls playing at the accused man's residence during the incident. All of them were his nieces. He attacked all four, one died on the spot. Two others died at the hospital, and the fourth one is still undergoing treatment. The fourth girl is in a critical state and is battling for her life at the Behrampur Hospital.
