BINI charms crowd at Summer Sonic 2026 day 1

P-pop powerhouse BINI conquered the Mountain Stage on the first day of Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan, performing their hits “Pantropiko” and a Filipino-Japanese version of “Salamin, Salamin,” among others.

The octet — composed of Aiah, Mikha, Sheena, Maloi, Stacey, Jhoanna, Colet and Gwen — made their historic debut at the music festival’s Osaka leg, looking vibrant in their glitzy colorful dresses on Friday, Aug. 14.

The girl group opened their set with “Cherry on Top,” then delivered high-energy performances of “Zero Pressure,” “Out of My Head,” “Blush,” “Step Back” and “Sugar Rush.” They also sang “Born to Win” and “Salamin, Salamin,” which incorporated Japanese lyrics. They concluded their setlist with “Pantropiko.”
