"Let's get to work!' Ruge said as he attached the badge against the backdrop of a Kyiv street.

As Ukrinform previously reported, experienced German diplomat Boris Ruge was appointed the new German ambassador to Ukraine. He previously served as NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy.

Former German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jaeger announced on August 4 that he was completing his diplomatic mission and said goodbye to Ukrainians before returning to Germany.
