According to Ukrinform, the head of state announced this on Facebook.

“I chaired the Headquarters meeting. The key issue is the funding needed for Ukraine’s defense and security forces for the fall and winter period. We identified the main shortfalls and additional needs for the development of the most innovative and technologically advanced types of weapons, as well as for accelerating the production of our strike capabilities and new types of defensive weapons, in particular missile interceptors,” Zelensky said.

He noted that intelligence agencies provided updated information on Russia’s plans and assured that Ukraine is preparing countermeasures and asymmetric responses.

Separately, the President emphasized the continuation of long-range sanctions against the aggressor country.

“We analyze the results of long-range sanctions against Russia, as well as medium-range sanctions, on a weekly basis. The established sanctions plan is being implemented, and we are promptly adjusting priorities so that Ukraine’s capabilities are 100% aligned with the need to achieve all the goals of our sanctions plan,” the head of state said.

According to him, Ihor Klymenko reported on the status of implementing decisions by the General Staff and the National Security and Defense Council, as well as areas requiring additional attention.

“There was also a separate report from the special services on the status of targeted operations against collaborators in the temporarily occupied territory—particularly in Sevastopol—who are participating in Russian attacks against Ukraine and Ukrainians. The collaborators will inevitably be held accountable,” Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, the “Ukrainian Council of Arms Manufacturers,” an industry association of Ukrainian manufacturers, released a statement today in which manufacturers of weapons and military equipment call on the Ministry of Defense to ensure the continuity of contracts for the Ukrainian defense industry and the supply of necessary weapons to the Defense Forces.
