Kumong Bol-Anon 26 main card unveiled, 3 IBF regional titles at stake

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The much-anticipated rematch between Regie “Filipino Phenom” Suganob and his tormentor, former world champion Sivenathi Nontshinga of South Africa, just got even more exciting with PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions unveiling the official main card for “Kumong Bol-Anon 26,” scheduled on Sept. 12 at the Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium.

This as three vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) regional title fights are lined-up in the main card on September 12. A total of eight bouts, including the September 9 curtain opener that will be held in the Municipality of Loon.

The co-main event features the hard-hitting Cebuano prospect, Reymart Tagacanao gunning for the vacant IBF Asia Junior bantamweight title against Chinese Chinlin Kuwang for 10 rounds.

He is coming off a back-to-back winning streak this year to bounce back from his Kyrgystan loss last October.

Tagacanao who represents both the Villamor Boxing Gym in Mandaue City and the PMI Bohol Boxing Promotions sports a record of 13 wins with 11 knockouts and one defeat, while Kuang has a 5-1-2 (win-loss-draw) record with no knockout. This will be his first fight in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Leonard Pores III takes on Andika Fredikson ‘D’Golden Boy’ Ha’e of Indonesia for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific flyweight title for 10 rounds.

Pores III is unbeaten in 11 fights with seven knockouts. He recently won against Renoel Pael last July in Tagbilaran City by unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, Ha’e has a 21-3-2 slate with 11 knockouts. He is eyeing a bounce back win following his November loss to fellow Indonesian Aser Kawas by unanimous decision in Jakarta.

Lastly, Datu Adam (7-0, 5KOs), one of PMI Bohol Boxing Stable’s rising prospects will face Indonesian Oky Akbar (12-4, 5KOs) for the vacant IBF Asia junior featherweight title in the curtain raiser.
