Talibon Bohol buy-bust: ₱4M shabu confiscated, 2 men arrested

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — More than P4 million worth of alleged shabu were confiscated during a buy-bust operation in Talibon, Bohol, on Friday afternoon, August 14, 2026.

The operation was initiated by the Drug Enforcement Group Special Operation Unit in Central Visayas and Talibon Municipal Police Station.

During the operation, two individuals were apprehended.

They were identified as alias Atan, 42, and alias Dennis, 46, both residents of Barangay Busalian, Talibon town in the Province of Bohol.

In the millions

Authorities confiscated from them 622.4 grams of alleged shabu worth ₱4.2 million.

The suspects were currently placed under the custody of PNP DEG SOU-7, while the pieces of evidence were submitted to the Bohol Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.

Authorities are now preparing the filing of charges against the suspects for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
