Among those honored were employees of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve, as well as representatives of the cultural sector and philanthropic and charitable organizations.

“On the occasion of the 975th anniversary of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, I have honored with state awards our people who, through their daily work, make an important contribution to the preservation of our sacred sites, culture, and historical heritage,” Zelensky said.

The head of state expressed his gratitude to “everyone who helps us preserve our Ukrainian identity, supports our people, and ensures that our history and culture are known and respected not only in Ukraine but also around the world.”

As reported, Volodymyr Zelensky took part in the opening of the exhibition “Spiritual Treasures of the Nation: The Sacristy of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” on the occasion of the Lavra’s 975th anniversary.
