Disney has released the first teaser trailer for the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, giving fans their first substantial look at the adaptation of The Titan’s Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan’s bestselling Percy Jackson series. The new season premieres November 20, 2026, on Disney+.
The trailer immediately raises the stakes for Walker Scobell’s Percy Jackson. Annabeth Chase, played by Leah Sava Jeffries, has disappeared, sending Percy and Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri) on another dangerous mission. The story also brings the Great Prophecy into sharper focus, with the fate of Olympus increasingly tied to a demigod child of the Big Three gods.
Season 3 marks the first time The Titan’s Curse has been adapted for the screen. The story expands the series beyond Percy’s established circle at Camp Half-Blood, introducing several major characters from Riordan’s mythology, including siblings Nico and Bianca di Angelo, played by Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie. Tamara Smart also returns as Thalia Grace, who becomes increasingly important to the unfolding prophecy.
The new footage also introduces the Hunters of Artemis, an important faction in The Titan’s Curse. Artemis herself is played by Dafne Keen, while Saara Chaudry joins the cast as Zoë Nightshade. Ming-Na Wen and Andra Day also appear in the season as Hera and Athena respectively.
The season’s mythology brings Percy into direct conflict with the forces surrounding Kronos, the Titan whose return has been building across the series. The trailer teases several of the book’s major set pieces, including Percy being forced to bear the weight of the sky, a pivotal moment from The Titan’s Curse that becomes central to his latest quest.
The cast also features Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, with the series continuing to develop the larger conflict between the Olympian gods, the demigods and the Titans. The new season follows the events of Season 2, which ended with Zeus transforming Thalia into a tree after she refused to become a weapon in the gods’ looming war.
Created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, Percy Jackson and the Olympians continues to adapt the original novels as an ongoing Disney+ series. Season 3 is executive produced by Steinberg, Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein alongside Riordan and Rebecca Riordan, with James Bobin and other returning producers also involved.
The first two seasons adapted The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters, while Season 3 moves into previously unadapted territory with The Titan’s Curse.
