Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Late in the evening, an enemy drone deliberately struck a civilian car in Sumy. A 59-year-old man was killed. The car caught fire as a result of the strike. The victim’s wife was hospitalized with injuries,” the message reads.

Hryhorov added that medical personnel are providing assistance to the victim.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that the enemy repeatedly attacked Sumy with drones in the evening and at night. The military destroyed some of the aerial targets, but the intensity of the attacks remains high, Hryhorov emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, over the past 24 hours, 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by Russian strikes; four people were injured, and there is damage to homes and infrastructure.
