According to Ukrinform, the publishing house “Nash Format” reported this on Facebook.

“In several offices, sections of the walls have been knocked out, the ceiling has been damaged, and furniture has been destroyed and displaced. Fortunately, no employees were injured. The publishing house’s team is currently assessing the consequences of the attack and the extent of the damage,” the statement reads.

The publishing house noted that it is not launching a separate fundraising campaign to restore the office. The best way to support “Nash Format” is to buy its books.

The publishing house emphasized that this is not the first time Russian shelling has damaged “Nash Format’s” infrastructure.

“On July 4, 2025, as a result of shelling in Kyiv, the publishing house’s warehouse and online store were damaged. The shock wave and debris destroyed part of the facade, shattered windows, damaged the ceiling and warehouse premises, and some of the books were damaged by the shelling and firefighting efforts,” “Nash Format” reported.

The publishing house managed to fully resume operations a month and a half after the attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, as a result of missile strikes by Russian forces on August 16, fires were recorded in two districts of the capital, and people were injured.
