A stretch of the M6 highway will be closed for hours following a “serious collision” on Monday morning, National Highways has said.
The M6 in Staffordshire was closed following the crash, which involved three heavy goods vehicles and a car on the northbound carriageway.
Staffordshire Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Staffordshire Fire & Rescue and National Highways were called to the scene following the incident.
National Highways said the closure could be lengthy and warned drivers of delays.
