Footballers Wives' star Susie Amy has married her partner of eight years, Raphael Bar in a surprise countryside wedding.

Susie, 45, who is best known for playing Chardonnay Lane-Pascoe in the hit ITV drama series did not announce her engagement but has now shared a wedding picture on Instagram on Sunday.

The beautiful picture was shared a month after their big day, which took place on July 17.

Susie wore a plunging lace gown and carried a parasol in hand as she and her new husband toasted their wedding with a glass of champagne.

Their two daughters, Noa and Rosie acted as bridesmaids.

The girls looked adorable in pretty white dresses and floral crowns, with both carrying baskets of peach petals to match their mother's peach and pink bouquet.

While another showed the girls starring out of the window while waiting for the nuptials to begin.

The couple seemingly pulled out all the stops for their big day, getting hitched in a stunning countryside mansion complete with a mobile bar handing out glasses of champagne.

Susie and Raph first got together in 2018 and welcomed their first daughter, Noa Liberty Jane Bar, in January 2019.

Their second child, Rosie Iris Grave Bar, was born in October 2020.

As well as starring in Footballers' Wives, Susie is also well-known for playing Scarlett Morgan in Hollyoaks in 2018 and for a short time in 2022.

She also went on to star in a slew of different shows including Hotel Babylon, The Royal and Doctors in 2006.

In July last year, Susie enjoyed a reunion with her on-screen husband Gary Lucy.

Gary said: 'When we did the show we didn’t know what we were doing. We just didn’t get it. Then it went down a storm. It was an amazing a time and this one [Susie] made it amazing.’

Susie admitted: ‘It was so fun, it was one of my favourite jobs. I was 20 and he was 19 when we were cast.

'I remember when I auditioned I asked who was playing Kyle and they said it was him I thought, “I really want to get this one because he’s absolutely gorgeous!”'
