Climate change not all ‘doom and gloom’, suggests Reform’s Richard Tice

Reform UK’s Richard Tice has suggested that climate change is not all “doom and gloom” as he encouraged people to enjoy warmer weather.

Speaking at a party conference on Monday (17 August), the deputy leader said that we should focus on adapting to warmer temperatures rather than "think arrogantly that you can stop it”.

Mr Tice, who did acknowledge that climate change was “of course” real, said we should celebrate warmer summers.

“If it means that English wine and sparkling wine gets better and better, fantastic. That means we can take on the French, fantastic.”
