Dunedin will host a World Surf League qualifying event next year, bringing about 200 surfers from across the Asia-Pacific region to St Clair Beach.

The World Surf League Dunedin Pro QS4000 and Junior Pro competitions will run from March 16-21, 2027, with New Zealand’s top surfers taking on international competitors
