A high school student opened fire at a private university campus in the Philippines on Tuesday, killing a fellow student and wounding two others before turning the gun on himself.
The shooting, which the student reportedly livestreamed using a body camera, took place at about 7:50 a.m. local time at Ateneo de Zamboanga University in the southern port city of Zamboanga, about 800 kilometers south of the capital, Manila.
Hundreds of students were evacuated to safety after the gunshots were heard in the high school building, which is located on a secured campus, separate from a larger university campus.
