MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) clarified that it allocated P2.024 billion for priority flood mitigation projects across the Davao Region. The DPWH issued the statement in response to ACT Teachers Rep. Antonio Tinio’s claim that funding for flood control projects in the region was left blank in the proposed 2027 budget.
