Two men have been charged in connection with a €233,000 cannabis herb seizure in Galway.

The drugs were discovered during searches at two homes in the Roscam and Castlepark areas on Saturday.

Two men in their 40s and 50s were arrested and have since been charged.

They are due before Galway District Court next month.
