This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, according to Ukrinform.

According to the investigation, on August 18, the Russian army attacked settlements in the Kherson region using artillery and various types of drones.

“As of 5:30 p.m., five people were reported injured as a result of the Russian aggression,” the prosecutor’s office noted.

In particular, three people in Kherson were injured as a result of enemy drone attacks, including an employee of the State Emergency Service and a resident of the village of Rakivka.

In addition, a man in the regional capital was injured after stepping on a petal mine.

The attacks damaged private homes and apartment buildings, a café, a municipal utility building, as well as a service vehicle and a passenger car.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes.

As reported by Ukrinform, a civilian was injured by a landmine in Kherson, and in the village of Sahaidachne, a local resident was injured when a Russian drone exploded.
