The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially fixed N7,672,822 as the final fare for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage, instructing all intending pilgrims to settle their outstanding balances on or before 18 September.
Making the announcement, the Director-General of the Board, Ahmad Umar Labbo, revealed that pilgrims who had earlier made an initial deposit of N7,500,000 are expected to pay a balance of N172,822 to finalise their registration.
Umar Labbo called on Zonal Officers across the state to intensify sensitisation efforts to ensure pilgrims complete their documentation ahead of the scheduled 26 September departure date.
He urged the officers to enforce strict compliance with the 18 September deadline, emphasising that prompt payment is necessary for a smooth operational rollout.
